“Beautiful cabin and peaceful environment. My husband and I have stayed at many VRBOs and this was the best experience we have had. It would have been the perfect place to see the total solar eclipse if the clouds hadn't rolled in. Still worth it. We enjoyed the sky, trees, birds, butterflies and deer from our secure and serene location. We felt very much at home. The cabin was immaculate.”

Our property host, Julie was very quick to answer our questions before check in. The house was very up to date and clean. “I stayed in the Treehouse suite for a week in early September. Hosts Vicky and Micky were consummate hosts. The ranch was spacious with delightful critters and Micky was wonderful, taking me on a trail ride and gave me two horse riding lessons, as well as a tour of the bird sanctuary and farm animal encounter. The suite was just big enough for me and my dachshund (who had the time of her life exploring the grounds). It had everything I needed for a rustic country vacation. I only had one issue……

“Went to see concert at John T Floore’s store in Helotes. Location of cabin was 9 miles from the concert location. Recommend visiting Boerne also for walking and shops. 20 min drive away”

“Great property, friendly management and very helpful. Great location and we enjoyed going for the day to Fredericksburg and also saw lots of wildlife. The boys enjoyed the horse back riding offered by the owners of our rental property. All around great stay and close to town if you just want to get out or need supplies.”

“Our stay was shorter than intended due to requirements we overlooked in researching our travel needs for my mother who has limited mobility issues. Nonetheless, we were quite pleased with the place and especially with our hosts. Bonus- my daughter enjoyed hanging outside on the swing set and saying hello to the friendly animals.She wanted to stay longer..”

“We could have had an awful experience, driving up into the Hills with the crazy Christmas weather that hit the states this last weekend. But we didn’t. Vicky and Micki were amazing hosts, communicating the status of electricity and the water as they not only set space for their inbound guests, but managed a fully functioning farm. We had a great time!🎄 We had a great start with a walk about the farm meeting the goats and donkey’s before enjoying the sunset down with a friendly horse visit. We……

“Spent all day shopping hung out and slept at the Purl. Host was very hands on answered messages quick. Great place to stay.”

“Owner called and said the Vrbo had made a mistake and we did not get the cabin we had reserved on the website and that we were going to have to pay extra if we needed the extra bed. So our group of 11 became party of 7 because the other party could not afford the extra room. Where we were replaced was nice, but we were placed in separate cabins. My nephew is blind & made it difficult for him to join us when we united into one of the bigger house . The house was a trailer house and not the house……
