It’s a very pretty hotel. The doormen were gentlemen & very attentive. Dawin, manager of the baggage department was especially good. She was always there to answer any questions we had & made suggestions when we asked for them. She would make an excellent concierge. The front desk staff didn’t seem to know as much as Dawin did.
I guess I was expecting a little more from this upscale hotel. A little gift shop where you could buy a few necessities, snacks, water, a sweet treat would have been nice, instead of paying the high prices on the in room items. A concierge on staff that knew the area and make suggestions would have been helpful.
A couple of bottles of water in the room each day would have been a nice perk. A few minor things we had to ask for while there: our bathroom sink drain to be cleared, new batteries in the TV remote, a couple of towels & washcloths on our last day, note paper & a pen, and instructions on setting the correct time on the clock. These were all taken care of promptly, but things that could have been seen & addressed before our stay.
