The staff member that checked me in did not know his job. I told him that I had a reservation and he took it as I had already paid. He gives me my keys and then manages to run around the property looking for me to collect payment, the beds were in very poor condition and the pillows smelled so bad, we had to go buy some smell good items to kill the bad smells in the room. You could hear people talking loudly through the walls. Sketchy people walking around the property at odd hours.

Thank you for your feedback, we check many, many people in and there are 2 choices when you book with 3rd party, they collect or we collect, it depends on the reservations, and instead of having him chase you around, perhaps you could have expressed that you did not pay and then pay before leaving. Our rooms are clean and if you had an isses at time of check in you can let the front desk know and they can move you to a different room. However we do understand that evryone has a level of comfort and for you it seems we missed the mark. We wish you the best in your future travels finding a hotel more suitable to your needs.

Thank you for your feedback, we have a comfortable and safe area, occaisonally there can be transient people in every area fo San Diego as it is a very warm and inviting climate, we are adjacent to a strip mall, which has 24 hour security. We appreciate the mention and your business. Thanks.

noisy bed, many homeless people around, maintenance for the building required.
Nevertheless its location is very convenient, close to the airport, Balboa park, trolley stations and a few restaurants and shopping places like ROSS near by.

Thank you for your feedback, all of san diego has certain areas that we have some people loitering, there is a facility near us and so sometimes, you will see some people around now and then, we can assure you that the adjacent strip mall that is 100 feet away and in the same parking lot as us has full time security, so there is no need to worry. Yes we are an older building, but we do have a maintenance staff and we are always checking and making sure that our facility is comfortable and safe. Thank you.
