This is a cute boutique hotel in Sarasota, conveniently located near Sarasota Airport. However, it feels very mom-and-pop. The hotel has hardwood floors, but they were not clean. The sink and bathroom were only halfway clean—no visible stains, but clearly not thoroughly cleaned. It seemed like someone did a very surface-level clean.
There was no room cleaning unless requested and paid for 24 hours in advance. Despite requesting the room to be cleaned, including sweeping the floor, there was hair from earlier in the day still on the floor when I got back.
The room rate per night is good, making it an affordable option. However, if cleanliness is important to you, this might not be the best choice. The hotel has cute, modern artwork and fixtures, creating a friendly atmosphere. If you're staying for only three nights, it could be tolerable, but I don't plan to stay there again.
