“The place is nice, it reminds me of my grandmother's home. There are modern conveniences, but that’s the vibe. The stairs aren’t terrible, but a bit much. Apartment is on the third floor. There is a chair lift thing, but it only goes to the second floor. There are rails on both sides to hold on to from second to third floor; just on one side from first to second (chair lift). “Only minor inconvenience was the music the pizza shop downstairs plays until 10 pm. Not sure VRBO owner can do anything about that but the music seems totally unnecessary for the pizza business.”

“We visited our hometown to attend a wedding. Property was clean and well kept. No issues with noise or traffic sounds. The village itself is a quiet place to begin with in the area. The Roku TV thing we found hard to use and cumbersome so we streamed from our iPads to TV using Airplay and accessing our cable carrier. We didn’t watch much TV as we were out most of the time visiting nevertheless we tried to keep up with news. Suggest bringing a firestick if you have one. The bed was a full size so……

“We were in town for a bridal shower and wanted a place where the four of us could stay together. The Sunrise Lodge was perfect! It was so nicely appointed and the property owners were wonderful! It is a beautiful space for a quiet weekend away and near historic Cooperstown.”
