“First let me say, we had a great time at this property. This is a small house in the city. Great location. We could walk to restaurants and play pickleball at the playground next store. It had three good size bedrooms, with super comfy beds. Only one real bathroom and shower, as the second bathroom was tiny and only had a toilet. But we managed to make it work, once we figured out how to get the hot water. I finally broke down on the second day and messaged the host, and he responded very……

“The listing is very accurate! This place is right off the 101 freeway and very close to the airport. Our kiddo is special needs, so staying at a hotel is not appropriate for us. This house had everything we needed to relax and prepare for the college graduation we were attending. We were close enough to the city and far enough from the traffic and parking issues. Plenty of towels, which is great! There is an iron/ironing board in the closet as well. Perfect!!!”

“The place was nice and clean. I was expecting my security deposit back and I did not receive it cause I was charged for some towels and bed sheet that was stained $225 dollars not fair! Even tho we fixed the broken handle on the stove and our door went bad since the fridge didn't keep our food cold enough. I did not want to complain cause I really they wasn't gonna play me with my deposit but that was very unfair all of that comes off in the wash I'm sure ”

“Loved staying here. Great location. Close to Muni stops. Communication with host is excellent. The garden, just outside the back door, is gorgeous and very relaxing (was a bit cold during our stay so didn't get to use it much). Spacious and clean bathroom. Comfy queen bed. Nice library available (common area, so have to share it with other guests). Decent Wifi. Easy check in/out. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The instructions were to park in a special place designed for guests. A cart port. However as we pulled into the property, a lady had already parked there and plugged her car in and quickly ran into the house. The email told us to park in that place. We knocked in the door where the lady went but no response at all. Calling or contacting the host was a failure on multiple attempts. The sign on the door said to take our shoes off, but if you do, you will end up with pet hair on your socks or bare……

“We loved our weekend in the Mushroom House. The views from the third level are amazing, and the space is beautiful. Check in was easy, good communication with the hosts. And we had an couple amazing meals at the Coast Cafe. Our 11-year-old daughter can’t wait to go back. She loved sleeping in the loft, as well as the hidden room behind the bookcase on first floor.”

“We came to San Francisco for a wedding and the whole family wanted to stay together rather than be split up in hotel rooms. This house was perfect! The updates are very nice and it was really clean. The only negative would be the kitchen was not very well stocked if you needed to cook a meal for a large group (as far as large utensils, serving dishes and pans) Other than that, it was great and we would definitely stay again.
