Es gibt zwei verschiedene Eingänge zu den Wohneinheiten, so hat man kaum Berührungspunkte. Der Pool ist groß und wurde während der Zeit nur von uns genutzt. “Das Haus ist wirklich toll und die Vermieter sehr nett. Auch wenn Kleinigkeiten in der Küche gefehlt haben (die vielleicht auch die meisten nicht brauchen wir z.B eine Käsereibe) war eigentlich alles da, was man braucht. Die Vermieter haben auch direkt immer alles vorbeigebracht wenn etwas gefehlt hat. Das Haus ist super Videoüberwacht und gepflegt und man fühlt sich sehr sicher.”

Chiara ist eine außerordentlich nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, die uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. “Nous avons passé une semaine à la villa Barone (agriturismo) dans l'appartement Gioia. La piscine est magnifique dans un vaste jardin. Carmela s'occupe bien de ces hôtes. Comme nous y étions, il y avait 4 familles mais la proximité n'était pas gênante. L'endroit est bien situé pour rayonner vers les villes baroques de la région et pour les belles plages. “Phenomenal! Melina and her husband were superb hosts, and we can't say enough about this place. We were a large family across three generations (ages 6 to 76); everyone had a blast. The grandparents stayed in the extra two suites that are a separate building while the younger generations had their run of the larger house. “Ein kleines Häuschen auf zwei Etagen in der Nähe des schönen Stadtzentrums von Scicli mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und einer tollen Gelateria! Im unteren Stock ist es etwas dunkel und im Frühling eher kühl. Im oberen Stock ist es hell und wärmer. Die kleine Dachterrasse ist gemütlich. Die Umgebung bietet einige Möglichkeiten. Wir sind am liebsten, mit den MTB‘s in der Gegend herum gefahren, besonders der Küstenweg zwischen Caca D‘aliga und Sampieri hatte es uns angetan.”

“Villa Paola is a lovely property, set high above Donnalucata with a view down to the sea. The veranda is well shaded with good seating for eating outside. There is a bbq and a good size kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are modern. The aircon works well, essential for Sicily’s hot weather! Renzo, the local manager, is great, he is super helpful and came to clean the pool and the bbq as well as taking away rubbish and buying a new umbrella for the poolside. One of our party needed……

“This house is perfect for a lovely beach holiday. It is very near the sea and the promenade which has good cafes and is lively and good fun in the evening. The house itself is quiet and calm. It has all the amenities needed for comfortable living and for going to the beach including beach chairs, sunshades etc It is cool inside and there are quiet, effective fans. There is a very nice balcony for eating meals and watching the world go by (slowly).”
