“As a long time visitor to Scotts Head this was our second stay here. Great location & pet friendly. David responds swiftly to questions & the place was lovely & clean when we arrived. Hopefully we can stay here again next Easter holidays.”

“The property is great. We had a lovely trip - so close to the beaches and shops. Large enough for two families of 4x and grandparents. The kids loved the separate sleeping area and their own kitchen. The main kitchen is well equipped and all the bedrooms are a good size for couples. Some feedback: the converted garage where the kids slept was so hot without a fan or air con. Also some foldable hanging racks would be really useful to use under the verandas during wet weather to dry beach……

“Promo photo misleading. tiny concrete block Fireplace outside our 1bedroom unit different to photo. No firewood supplied to light up if we wanted to. The unit is only 10-15 mtr from larger rental house on property where large fire pit is!House occupied by a number of noisy intoxicated blokes who partied to early hours of the morning. Arakoon road is main road which is very busy and noisy. The unit is close to road , maybe 20 Mtr and it feels like traffic is just outside the window. Killer pond……

“Although the list of problems is long none of them were unbearable. Our first little gift was a false fingernail in the bed, luckily without accompanying hand or body. The feral list grew from there, from mouldy showers to unidentified smells. The lawn was so overgrown that I lost my little assistance dog a few times when he went out to relieve himself. Luckily he was able to navigate his way back to me by nose alone The bin in the kitchen had a broken lid taped on with gaffer tape, the lid……

“We booked, based on dates for family reunion. Dates changed, but owner could not grasp that booking was for 2023, not 2022. He declined to change, so cousin booked necessary dates and we shared the house. Owner was most amenable to this. My family had stayed in this house, several times, when my sister and I were young. We had loved it. Improvements to the house are wonderful - ensuite bathroom, internal toilets! In our day, there was an outdoor dunny! The house is a beautiful, Queenslander……

“Our cabin was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen had all items for us to be self contained. It’s so close to the beach and to the local cafe and mini grocer so food was no trouble. Highly recommend staying here.”
