"Loved the house, feet from the water's edge, shallow at the edge of the lawn and wonderful view of the lake. Too soon in the season for docks to be in, it would have been nice to walk out over the water. Enjoyed watching the birds on the lake. Spacious deck, A great time skipping stones on the water. Keith came over, explained directions on the heat and answered any questions we had. Pam and Keith pleasant to work with, they live in the neighborhood so easily contact, but we did not need them. "The area is scenic, just beautiful. Cottage is well maintained and pretty. Furniture is comfy, and little details are attended to. It's a busy area but the backyard is private. I've stayed in cottages where they didn't have salt and pepper, or any hand soap. This place had a selection of spices, soap in each bathroom, all the towels. Even some shampoo and conditioner! Rachael was easy to talk to and responsive to inquiries. Highly recommend 😀"

"This place makes us feel cozy. However, the cleanliness is not up to par. There are lot of dead bugs in some corners of the room and around the windows. Also found some calcium around the kitchen faucet. Look like the cleaning service didn't do a good job. Why should I pay for cleaning service?"

"We were in town for the weekend for a family wedding at Twin Silos. There were five of us total (three adults and two kids - 10, 16). There was plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable. We were able to prepare dinner in the kitchen the first night and had everything we needed. Had to run to Geneseo for some last minute supplies the second morning, which was a quick 10mins away. "We came as a group of family and friends to observe the eclipse. We wanted plenty of space and proximity to other things to do, like hiking and the winery. This fit the bill and was quite affordable too. In addition to enjoying the property, we drove to Letchworth State Park, which’s was only 45 mins away abs very worthwhile. We loved the (steep) hike down to hemlock lake, and the short walk to Oh-Neh-Da Winery too. It was a great home base for our long weekend."
