“We loved the historic history of the hotel and how it was preserved. The homage to Scranton's history with the train industry was magnificent. The hotel was very adult friendly, great restaurants and very nice breakfast nook. While I'm sure a hotel like this does not attract families with children (young, teens or young adults), some less formal options for adults may be more appealing (for example: an indoor pool, an in hotel convenience store with snacks and ice cream, etc). “The basics were good - bed was comfortable, room was quiet, shower was good. Room itself was showing it age (only 1 bolt holding toilet seat on, toilet ran after every flush, shower was stained, etc.). Breakfast was so disappointing that I went elsewhere. When I arrived at 5 pm I waited 10 minutes for someone to show up at the desk.”
