This is a “pet friendly” property. We were aware of that, and even asked which rooms the dogs were allowed in. We were told they limit the dogs to the first 2 floors, so we asked for as high as possible. We got room 401, which is on the corner, great room, great view, all was great until 3 days later. At 5:47 am we were awakened by a large dog barking in room 402A which is practically next door. I should have expected this as the large dog barked at me when I passed by the room the evening before. Fortunately we were checking out the next morning. When I confronted the front desk about the dog on the 4th floor I was told they “try” to limit the dogs to the first 2 floor, but if it’s really busy they will put them on the over floors. This is more than just an annoying issue for us as my wife has severe breathing issues and staying in a room that was previously occupied by a dog or two might be a big issue. Bottom line is, after 2 days I would have rated this property a 5 and booked again next year, now I rate it a 3 and will never risk staying in this kennel again. If you’re a dog lover … you’ll love this property, it’s a great hotel in a great location.
