"The hotel is very well maintained for an older property. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff spoke English which was helpful for someone trying to learn Italian. The full breakfast that was included with the cost of the room was excellent and a nice surprise."

The only downsides are 1. food on resort is a bit of a miss (not enough simple, local dishes in favor of fancy over-the-top dishes ) although breakfast was lovely and 2 you have to have a car to get to Tropea as the resort is isolated and there is not much to do in ..."
