Location is close to Hapjeong/Hongdae area while being a bit away. The area of the hotel itself has a lot of restaurants and places to drink, but you won't find many non-Koreans here, and won't likely have English accommodation. Don't be fooled by the "hotel" name, this is definitely a motel, one of the ones, but overall it's on the nicer side for what it it is. If I was going to stay in this area again, I would probably consider this as one of my first options, just because these places can be so hit or miss. I do wish that they had cleaned out the refrigerator though.

The hotel is ~5 minutes walk from Yeoungdongpo Station which is convenient. During the evening hours; however, it gets very noisy with loud music blasting from nearby bars/clubs. There's also people trying to drag you into their bars (this is at ~8pm when I went out for dinner) & the surrounding areas are filthy with trash & cigarette butts everywhere.
Now with the check-in process. I thought there was a mistake when the reservation showed check-in time at 11pm and I called a day in advance to confirm. I was told that check-in starts at 2pm. I arrived the hotel lobby ~3pm & the front desk clerk told me that check-in was 9pm and asked me to pay 60,000 Kwon. He said the hotel clerk on duty the previous day gave the wrong info and demanded I pay upfront before checking in. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he's the manager and wouldn't budge. I then asked to speak to the hotel owner & he wouldn't let me but rather texted the owner himself and had me wait for about an hour while I tried to call Expedia. Unfortunately, I can only reach Expedia Virtual Chat & is of no help. Ultimately the owner agreed to 40,000 Kwon and I was able to check-in but the hotel manager gave me a room that hadn't been cleaned yet & thus I had to wait some more.
