“Great place to stay right on the river and clise to the park. Was great to be able to shower on our 11 day road tripm We loved this place.”

“Truly remote cabin—full kitchen and bath. Very cute and cozy but with modern amenities. Large deck and grill and two functioning fireplaces. Free parking and a delicious very local restaurant-bar across the street. The place is movie scene perfect for a hallmark Christmas. The down sides being if you are tall the bathtub will require you to bend down if taller than 5’10”. While I fully expect rustic there were a lot of easy to dust cobwebs. Be very aware there is approximately 1 place to eat and……

“We had a good stay, the view is by far the best feature, loved waking up and having breakfast in the porch looking at the mountains around us. Cabin is comfortable, bed might be a bit too noisy for a light sleeper, but reason for not giving 5 stars is that we found several pans/pots very dirty. I do appreciate they gave us a brand new sponge (not everyone does that). Host was responsive and accommodating even with a very late check-in time!”

“After hiking in Yosemite and Sequoia for six days, we were very excited to soak in the hot tub on this property. Unfortunately, it was dirty with a wide band of scum along the upper edge of the water. Needless to say we did not use it. That was very disappointing as the inside of the home was pristine and very comfortable.”

“Nice place to sit on the porch and watch the birds and wildlife. Cabin is very cold as far as touches, cookware very old, few utensils, nothing else. Bed is good. Outside is great.”

“Our vacation to Yosemite and Sequoia was wonderful and included staying at this beautiful house in the foothills in Three Rivers. Perfectly located and convenient to several restaurants and the Village Market where you’ll find everything you need (if you want to cook). Dusty was a wonderful host. Communicated timely. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need, tastefully decorated and very cozy. Much appreciated after long days of hiking and exploring. We did not have the……

“Caretaker Kori was best ever ! Even though had very late night checkin ,she was there for us to open the cabin and help us get situated.. she even has started a fire in the wood burning stove for us !!! Ranch setting was like a national park the beautiful hiking trails, wildflowers, and even a waterfall. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven”

“We loved our time at the Knotty Cabin. I stayed with my husband and family who were visiting from Ireland. We loved the location in the park with lots of great hiking and running trails right on our doorstep. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed and more. The only thing we wish we had known before we got up to King’s Canyon was that the grocery store up there is very limited. If you plan on cooking, which you likely will as there is only 1 restaurant option nearby, stop in Fresno on……

“Nice, comfortable cabin - we stayed there with 5 adults and two kids. The location is convenient and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Only issue we encountered was that the two bigger burners on the stove didn’t work - we were able to work around it but the heating the water for morning coffee/tea took a long time, lol! ”

“It was a lovely cabin maybe a bit small but most are. Its proximity to the main road was a bit challenging. Also we weren’t informed notice of the location up the hill until a few days before our trip date and by then it was too late to cancel. Furthermore if you choose this property be prepared for a winding road up the hill. Overall a pleasant experience at the property itself with spectacular views.”
