“Pretty cool property . House was nice . Furniture was different in appearance but very comfortable. Hot tub was perfect . Bathrooms seem newly remodeled . Hiking trails not far by vehicle. Only downfall is the access to the water is not user friendly. It’s not stairs it’s a rope and it’s steep. But overall it was a great place to hang out and have a nice fire or sit on one of the decks and enjoy the view!”

“My husband and I had a fabulous time at this antique schoolhouse. It was beautifully decorated down to every detail. We enjoyed it immensely.”

“We were really impressed by the space and the setting of this home on the hill. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We played pool, walked the dirt country road, and our dog loved the fenced in yard. It's close to Mount Vernon, Kenyon College, Mohican Park, Kokosing Gap Trail, and several golf courses.”

“My husband and I had a wonderful time at the cabin for Memorial Day weekend! It is a beautiful cabin and was perfect for the two of us! The owner was wonderful to communicate with and was very attentive to us. The owner did a great job of including unique touches throughout the cabin to make us feel welcome! “Great place to get away and enjoy time with friends and family. We got married about 25 minutes from this cabin at my grandfather's property. Such a beautiful decor throughout. The a/c conditions need improvement for hotter months, the rope to the river needs to be replaced and the landscaping could use some attention. But overall for early in the season it is wonderful and we would book again.”

“Large cabin with lots of room for a large family. Pool table in the basement was great. We enjoyed the front porch and fishing in the pond. Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to my father not feeling well.”

“Right off the bat I will say this cute little cottage is beautifully decorated. The living room was cozy and comfortable. There were games that we thoroughly enjoyed. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. The bedrooms are small, so watch those shins on the bed corners! The fenced in yard was a really nice bonus. The host Jeremy was wonderful. Any issues I had that were in his power, he was on top of to resolve immediately! With that being said, I have a hard time rating it 4 stars but……

“Within walking distance of three restaurants, Applebee's, Steak n Shake and Cracker Barrel. Easy parking for a long trailer i was towing. The outside of the building is showing its age but the room was newly remodeled and the bath towels were plush, not like sandpaper. Definitely will go here again.”

“A brief overnight stay. I was competing in the Ohio State Masters Disc Golf Championship and enjoyed a restfully sleep in anticipation of the next days tournament in Bucyrus.”
