I requested a room with a bath i was told mmy room had a bath amd when i checked in it was a walk in shower i took a minor fall but caused me a back injury so i checked out the hotel i also left a phone thwre amd the hotel hasnt even contacted me to return it

We stayed here cause it was close to the crucible theatre for our multiple sessions of snooker. The walk is easy lots of shops near by the bed was comfy but the pillows were too fluffy for me but im strange that way. Bathroom had a tub the room was clean. Breakfast was good had everything you need for a full English or just a nice light toast and coffee breakfast. We would stay again.

The good: room configuration of double and a fixed single, good housekeeping and useful location
However, the noise on 6th floor from air con units on rooftop was awful, outdated bathrooms with poor fixings/plumbing and no extractor, breakfast offering was pretty poor and cold with quality of meat very offputting, staff seemed a tad morose apart from a friendly lady at breakfast..
Stayed 3 nights but wouldn't return

Brilliant hotel. Easy to reach the crucible theatre coach station and to go shopping. Will definitely use this hotel next year
