“Rooms are nice. Practical sesk with tea and coffee. Easy to work warm shower. Super breakfast options. Staff are all friendly. Will stay on a regular basis for work.”

“Found the hotel overall pleasant , i stayed one night i didn't have a very good night sleep found the very hard pillow was very uncomfortable, there was two off us staying in the room there was only one bath towel we had to ask for another and one cup . The breakfast was good . Have stayed in this Hotel before a few years back found it excellent feel that this time different because of the hard pillow ”

“We were visiting family, the hotel itself was lovely, room was a little tired, the walls were chipped and needed new painting. I was surprised about not having an option to decline the holding fee on the debit card when we advised we would pay as we go. It was made very clear that the holding charge was an option I could not refuse. ”

“Though GPS directed our car to the tourist coach parking lot at the back, the hotel is just beside the motorway service centre with several restaurants in it. As customer of the hotel, we can buy £10 worth of coupon at £7.5 and the coupon can be used at nearby restaurant. The family room is also spacious, though the nearby gas station charges comparatively higher than other gas station ”

“I recommend the Black Horse. Very quiet and restful. The main building (pub & restaurant) is quite old and interesting with multiple levels and interior structures. The Garden Area was a delightful area for a pint and dinner, service was friendly as was the check-in. The grounds are sloped creating an inviting green impression. The beds are comfortable, the room size is adequate as is the bathroom. It has the typical bath/shower combo with a (typical) high sided tub. As we get older, we……

“The hotel was great, the room was large with a great view of the grounds and lake, even had a hot air balloon experience taking off from the grounds which was brilliant to see, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and was good quality, nice bar area including outdoor seating. hotel was in a great location with leeds castle very close by and multiple country pubs within a 10 minute drive”

“Friendly boutique hotel with lovely gardens, it has a nice relaxed feel to it. Classic room was small, felt squashed. Bathroom had power shower, which was great, L'Occitane toiletries excellent. Bed comfy but only standard size. If there for more than a couple of nights I would want bigger room. Brreakfast good sleection and cooked breakfast tasty and well presented,can take a little while as cooked completely fresh to order. Overall I think expensive ”

“Location is fine if you would like to visit Tonbridge School. Very convenient, less than 10 minutes walk from Tonbridge station. But the bed is too soft. ”

“Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience.”
