“We had a great stay at this cabin and the property. It's everything the write up says and then some. The owner is a true craftsman with an eye for creativity and for bringing the outside in. I wish I had taken a photo of my review that I left him handwritten in his leather bound book to share with you here. He has thought of everything to provide a peaceful, calm and tranquil getaway. There is so much wildlife to be seen and heard. The cabin is rustic and gave me Hobbit and fairytale vibes. We……

“We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely. It was well kept, clean and organized. It felt peaceful. The only thing I would suggest is to add to the listing that though pets are welcome they aren't allowed to be left unattended in the cabin. This is certainly understandable since some people don't train their pets. However, not being able to do so limited what we could do on a few days. Also listing a puppy day care in the welcome binder as an option for days renters would like to venture……

“Accommodations were exactly as pictured. No false advertising with this property. Property was immaculate. Hosts Samantha and Brian were very friendly and got back to me in minutes with the one question I did have. Will be booking with them again.”

“This was a 5-day, large family, vacation. There were a few minor issues, but nothing we couldn't overcome. We absolutely loved the location. There were a couple of days that we didn't even leave the property. The mosquitos were horribly, horribly bad! We went through a lot of insect spray and tiki torch fuel, but we were prepared for them. Thanks, Lisa”

The owner and staff were easily accessable when we had a question. Really enjoyed this place....it was reminiscent of our long since sold childhood Adirondack cottage! “Directly on the lake, you can walk out onto your own private peninsula, fish (I caught two bass in ten minutes), or just enjoy the lounge chairs or couples swing while gazing at the pristine lake or soaking up the fire we made in the brand new fire pit. “My husband, daughter, dog and I stayed at Pete's property for the Adirondack Balloon Festival and had a great time! The whole family, including Belle the dog, were super friendly and welcoming, chatting with us, showing us around the property and even hand delivered a half dozen fresh eggs from their chickens! The property is super fun-landing somewhere between a small farm and nature compound kind of feel. We were only there a couple days and spent the majority of the time out and about because……

“Very beautiful and unique hilltop house. The views from up there are incredible. Quiet and cozy. We ran into a small issue with some wildlife, but the owners answered my call and did all they could to take care of it immediately. Very responsive and helpful owners.”

“We absolutely loved this little cabin! It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). We were in Saratoga for a soccer tournament and this was the perfect place to relax in between games and overnight. The hosts were amazing, left us the nicest welcome basket and equipped the cabin with everything we would need (flashlights, wood for the fire, coffee K-cups). We will definitely use this property again if in the area!”
