“We rented this house for a short visit for the 2024 solar eclipse. Had a great view of the sun over Lake Champlain! The house was perfect for my wife and me with our 20 month old toddler - just needed a baby gate to keep her from dashing up to the loft.”

“This is a beautiful house in a idylic location. Our three couples had a comfortable, enjoyable stay - stunning sunsets, water access and nearby bike trails. We are giving five stars because of the property. We should take off points for the manager, but were so impressed with both the home and the location, it would not be fair the owners to present anything less than five stars. The management firm, Vacasa was efficient, but almost entirely unhelpful. Pre-booking questions were responded to,……

“We stayed here for the total eclipse in 2024. We had three families and the place was great. We want to come back and explore, there were so many interesting places we didn't have time to see.”

“Really nice space at an affordable price. Kitchen and game room were awesome, check-in/out super easy. Longer drive to Stowe than we thought because Smuggler's Notch was closed. Master bedroom shower faucet was out but hopefully that's been fixed.”

“The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that.”

“My group was childhood friends reuniting for a wedding weekend in Burlington. The house was great for what we needed and accommodated the 9 of us perfectly. We enjoyed the patio most. Andy was very communicative and let us check in an hour early.”

“If you look at the listing and say 'wow, this place sounds great!' then you're exactly right. We had a group of 13 for four nights, and it was the perfect place for us. Derek was an excellent host and answered all of our questions and gave some great recommendations. Only problem was that there were just too many fun things to do. Guess we'll just have to come back.”

“Nice, simple, well maintained accommodation. It is important to note that this property does not have a kitchen and the bedroom has two single beds. As long as that situation works for you, this is a good place to stay when you are visiting Burlington.”

“The house & location were beautiful, but there were some cleanliness issues that definitely blemished the stay a bit. *Dirty upstairs hall bathroom (we had to clean) *Dirty bathroom in upstairs en suite (we had to clean) *Coffee maker had old, moldy filer/coffee in basket *Towels with holes *Bugs/webs in the bedroom with the twin beds facing the lake”

“Beautiful, quiet location with the perfect deck for enjoying view of the lake, sunsets and mountains. Very comfortable inside and out. Beds were comfortable, well equipped, easy acces to house and communicating with the owner. Hope to return!”

“This house is exactly as described. The house and the location were great. kitchen was well equipped (although the old style replica stove was a little challenging for a Thanksgiving dinner - but we made it work). Small details such as spices and Tupperware and aluminum foil made for a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.”
