“House is beautiful! Host was amazing. Our truck battery was dead and it took us a while to replace it on checkout day. Host totally accommodated us AND offered to help but wouldn't let us pay extra for late checkout. Excellent experience, very kind man. Thank you!”

“This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. It is very aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. The backyard is a perfect setting, with a fire pit right on the water. We sat out there and watched the big swans on the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Michigan game and the travel to and from the stadium was short and no traffic. There were tons of places to eat that was close by. This property is at the top of my list of places to stay!!!”

“We did enjoy our stay at the Belleville house! Quiet neighborhood. Easy access to grocery stores. I needed more communication ie checkout procedures maybe something written to follow. Overall it was wonderfull and very affordable. Thank you”

“Pros - main areas mostly clean Nice neighborhood/location Nice washer/dryer/stove/refrigerator Cons - place is listed as “entire home” & the host rents out a small “treehouse” in backyard. Without disclosing in listing, Listing says private backyard Smart Thermostat doesn’t work correctly or host refused to take off remote settings. Most of our stay we were cold There are property managers & you’re asked to take their trash cans to the curb if you’re staying on a Sunday. Not a big deal,……

“We wanted to find a place that would accommodate our boat and dog and woodchuck marina was above and beyond our expectations. Emily was wonderful!! So accommodating and has done a beautiful job renovating. Yard is fenced in which allowed our dog to be off leash outside. So nice. Beautiful home and yard with a relaxing hot tub after a day on Lake Erie. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for having us Emily (and Chief). You guys are awesome.”

“The stay was lovely, and the property has a great location and vibe! There was a little confusion getting in, just because the listing doesn't make it look like there are 2 separate sructures (garage/hot tub/ large bedroom w/ mini bar up top and main house with kitchen/ pool table/ bedrooms/ living room down by the lake). However, the home itself is lovely, and in a prime location on the lake! Shower curtain and bath rugs up top weren't the cleanest, but the rest of the home was in great shape.……

“We really enjoyed our stay while in town visiting family. Carol goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and was very responsive to questions, including restaurant recommendations. We had our dogs with us, so very much enjoyed the large yard and the multiple walking trails that have been created around the property. During our stay, we also toured to the Motown Museum, so just adding a plug for that as we REALLY enjoyed it. Thanks again, Carol, for a great stay and all the hospitality!”

“The home was perfect for our weekend family retreat. We used every bed and every bathroom! If you do have the capacity maxed like we did bathroom sharing is a challenge but we all seemed to make it work. Our one request to the owner would be to add a nice sized mirror in each bedroom where guests may complete their dressing etc outside the coveted bathroom. 😉 The kitchen was spacious and had plenty of seating. It was a real gathering place. And the setting of the home amid the trees with lights……
