“Very pleased with my stay. The Manager upgraded our room for being members which was a pleasant surprise. Quiet room, very comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking garage is connected by a skywalk which felt safe and secure. Two restaurants below the hotel and walkable to many points of interest such as Van Andel and Intersection. Small outdoor patio area with a fireplace and ample seating. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Overall I would stay here again! ”

“I wouldnt change anything about the Hyatt except the fact that i find it ridiculous that you have to pay extra for parking when youre already paying so much for the room. Its very disappointing!”

“We had a great stay at this property with our grandsons while we visited downtown Grand Rapids, took in a show at the DeVos place. The location was convenient to many restaurants, venues and events. Parking was connected as well. The only complaint I would have is that the bed was very firm and uncomfortable. I understand that this is a preference - a bit of a pillowtop would be nice. It really was a good experience for us - thank you!”

“I dare to say that I think I like this hotel better than the JW Marriott Downtown. This hotel is in the heart of everything, its got an amazing restaurant on the main level and another roof top bar/restaurant on the 8th floor. We had a corner room, service was amazing and I loved that it was a tossimo for coffee instead of normal crappy hotel coffee. I loved that they had a glass water bottle to fill with ice an water instead of water bottles. Everything was so great. We'll be staying here every……

“Helpful desk staff! Room looked nice, up to date. The bed was soft for me and I forgot my pillow, so I was uncomfortable every night. May not be the case for others. Great location! Easy access in and out, easy to walk over a pedestrian bridge to downtown. Right across the street from 2 museums!”

“I enjoyed the look of the room (exposed brick was quaint). The bed was a little soft for my liking. Only had a nightstand on one side of the bed and we weren’t able to find anyone at the front desk when we checked out (this was undoubtedly due to the fact that there was a power outage, so it did not upset me). I would stay there again. ”

“For a Saturday night stay the room was very reasonably priced compared the insanely price Fairfield and Holiday Inn. Room was comfortable, bed comfey, tons of channels on the tv. Shower could have used a little more water pressure, and the toilet was not a power flusher. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, good for a coffee and pastry. Staff was pleasant. Overall for what you pay it was very good and we would stay here again.”
