“Great location between Hamilton and Nigeria Falls. Several grocery stores within 20 min. Lots of great restaurants both in Niagera Falls and Hamilton. House was spacious but did need some general up keep and cleaning. Bring towels and pillows. Two beds with comfortable mattresses. 4 were pretty firm. Owner was notified of issues and responded he would try to make things better for the next guest.”

“The South Point Retreat has been meticulously renovated and decorated with special touches. It is cozy and comfortable. Nice quality towels, soaps and shampoo/conditioner provided in both bathrooms is a nice touch. The beds are comfortable with quality bedding. We were the first guests to visit so Gerry and his wife graciously greeted us at the home to go over some details. We did learn upon arrival that the gas stove had not yet been hooked up, but an induction burner was provided. Not ideal……

“I wouldn’t want to stay here for an extended period of time due to cleanliness issues but it was amazing for a one night stay to host a birthday party in a beautiful area. Pros: Beautiful area away from the city in a quiet area and the property is big enough and away from neighbours enough you can enjoy outdoor games and music without fear of bugging anybody even late at night. Played lawn bowling with the outdoor lights after 10pm and it was very cool! The house is also huge and although……

“The property is actually bigger than the pictures suggest with a really large backyard, patio, creek and fire pit. We had our wedding here and comfortably accommodated the wedding party in the house with the ceremony and reception in the backyard. The host was friendly and welcoming. They answered our questions very quickly.”

“We really enjoyed our trip at this beautiful property. It was spacious and private and the pool was great! We would stay again but would request more hand, bath and pool towels as there weren't enough for each guest. Also extra pillows and linens for the sofa beds.”
