We did have 2 big issues, that did get a tiny bit of attention but did not get resolved. The first night we were there, it was 80 degrees in the house (in winter), and the thermostat was set at 60. “The room was very clean. Fife Lake is right outside your back door, and the room included an outdoor table, chairs, and a chair swing to take in the incredible view. We stayed there to go wine tasting in Traverse City. Fife Lake Lodge is a 35/40 minute drive from the city, but it costs less than most other options closer to TC.”

“This little community of cabins are nicely spaced. Giving it a vacation oasis. Probably a group of 10. Some are still in the process of being updated. The finishes are so wonderfully modern. The bed is simple but oh so comfy. Slept like a baby. Woke refreshed. You can stay and chill or wonder out and come back to relax. The only thing missing was a larger frying pan and some hooks or coat rack at the front door for fall and winter. Definently enjoyed my stay”

“We booked this site because of the lake access and it did not disappoint. We relaxed on the dock and enjoyed the calm and serenity the lake had to offer. The house was perfect too. Had everything accessible that we needed and even extra toothbrushes when my husband realized he forgot his at home. Mike and Maureen were excellent hosts and had everything ready for us and communication was great. It was also a quick and easy drive right into downtown TC.
