“The Berkman is a very elegant property with a lot of amenities. Great for family stays, but the Berkman also offers a lot of business services. Wonderful friendly and helpful 24-hour staff. I have stayed at the Berkman many times and it’s always been a good experience. ”

“We had the BEST most PEACEFUL time staying here and driving around the beautiful country sides, visits the adorable towns, buying Amish wares and listening to the tree frogs at night. The cabin is serene, with charm, rustic details and all the amenities you could need from cookware to lots of cozy linens. The beds and pillows were great and the view is, just the absolute best. WE. WILL. BE. BACK! *not to threaten the hosts with the bold text, but we just cannot wait!”

“I liked that the cabin is fairly isolated. It was a great location to watch and photograph the Perseid meteor shower. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like is the lack of running water at the cabin. A very minor issue for me as someone who has done a lot of camping. I would definitely consider staying here again some time. ”

“The cabin was actually nicer than the pictures gave them credit for. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The bathrooms were much nicer than expected. Both the cabin and the bathrooms were very clean. The grounds around the cabin really needed a good mowing. It would have been helpful if firepit tools for moving hot logs or cleaning out old charred pieces of wood were provided. Not something we have to bring with us. ”

“It started out with no contact from host. Took 1/2 hour to get code. Owners appear to be on property. At night could not get door to stay shut, put a chair against it. Traffic from Hwy 63 was very noisy. I was ok about the airport noise as they disclosed it. Only stayed 1 night due to the above issues. Paid for 2 nights but wasn't worth staying.”

“My family and I are so happy we found this house for my Mom’s birthday weekend! The location is great. It’s very convenient if you like to golf, it’s in a quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful view. We loved the sunroom as a gathering space and had fun using the arcade games, pool, and deck. The space itself was clean and checking in was easy! Thank you for a great stay, we would happily choose to stay here again if we find ourselves back in Wabasha!”

“We had a very nice long weekend here with teenagers. The beds were comfortable and the land was great for exploring! The kids enjoyed the endless pool. The showers had great pressure and the whirlpool was enjoyed by most - by it was a tub, not a hot tub. The kitchen, while manageable, could use some additions including spatulas, scrappers, cookie sheets - some items one might consider a staple. More practicable dinnerware and cups/glasses might be worth providing. We "figured" out how to work……

“Nice getaway for a hiking trip. Three level home with bathroom on each level. Beautiful view. As luck would have it the Northern Lights were out while we were there and we have a spectacular view!”

“Just keep in mind that the property is very old and so are all the appliances and furniture. When I say old, I mean clawfoot bathtub old. It’s not bad- they all seem to work fine- I just wasn’t expecting that based on the pictures. The house is also set up pretty weird and there are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Other than that, can’t complain. The place is very clean. The renters seem very nice. There was a moment in which the water needed to be temporarily……

“We were in town for appointments at Mayo Clinic, this apartment is close to Mayo, set up as a beautiful, relaxing place to be in between appointments. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. It was easy to find and very we’ll maintained, I would choose to stay here in the future.”

“Awesome host’s with great communication. The home is very comfortable, must be okay with stairs. Clean, great beds, open feel with good lighting and windows throughout. Love the front porch. All appliances in working order, stocked kitchen, solid internet. Just shy of a mile walk downtown or too Main Clinic buildings. Close to river walk, felt safe. Good neighborhood. Would definitely recommend”

“This accommodation was perfect for us. Location was so close to St Marys and let cal restaurants. Shuttle to Mayo worked out well. Well supplied. Can opener needs to be replaced and you need a church key. Extremely clean and comfortable.”

“We were very pleased with having this house to return to every day. We were here for Dr. Appointments for 1 month and this was perfect. It had everything we could have wanted or needed. We loved the trails right outside the door that can take you all over the city. Great location and very nice neighborhood.”
