“This spot is located on the bay side of the island, but it's only a 15 minute walk to the beach via public access routes. We had no problem walking the dog and carrying our stuff. Also, the space is pet friendly. There's a small fenced-in yard to let the dog run around. There's also a dock and kayaks on site if you want to paddle around. To be fair, this is not a luxury apartment, but you're also not paying luxury apartment prices. If it's just the two of you and maybe a dog, and all you want……

“We had a smooth early check-in. Property manager was great about meeting us in the middle of the night to check in. We had a lot of privacy and space in the house. You didn't feel on top of neighbors. The walk to the beach was super short and easy. The extra kitchen space came in handy for cleaning fish and storing them in a separate fridge. There really is only one shower but it worked fine for us. Very layed back vacation and very enjoyable 🌞”

“We had a great time at this house. The 2nd floor with 2 bedrooms,2 1/2 baths, and a living room area (needs a TV) was great for the 4 teenagers we had with us. The master is on the 3rd floor with a living room and kitchen. VERY spacious area, with a nice porch that expands the whole house. Plenty of amenities (paper towels, toilet paper, foil, countertop cleaner, coffee filters, dish soap, towels, sheets, beach towels, etc. however, bring your own chairs, the ones they have need to be replaced),……

“Most important to me in a rental are comfortable beds, bedding and pillows. My Happy Place provided all three (except for 4th bedroom with child size beds with droopy mattresses which fortunately we didn’t need). Lots of bath towels. Plenty of hot water. Kitchen had everything we needed but could use more kitchen towels (we brought our own after annother reviewer mentioned this). “My friend, her dog and I stayed the week of April 20-27. We had a fabulous time! Pura Vida has a wonderful deck and a gorgeous wall of windows to look out over the beach! Everything you could want is in the house. We even had a bonfire in the fire pit and made some-mores with friends. The owners answered all texts immediately. It was a wonderful vacation and can’t wait to go back!”

It is walking distance to the beach and a golf cart ride to most anything you would need, both stores and restaurants, during your visit. The host is great with answering any questions we had, which weren’t many.”
