“The place is nice, it reminds me of my grandmother's home. There are modern conveniences, but that’s the vibe. The stairs aren’t terrible, but a bit much. Apartment is on the third floor. There is a chair lift thing, but it only goes to the second floor. There are rails on both sides to hold on to from second to third floor; just on one side from first to second (chair lift). “We spent three nights in this cute townhouse. It was well stocked and clean and suited our needs for our stay. The beds were comfortable and off street parking was great. The house was updated with new kitchen and baths. It is a little far from the city areas but we didn’t mind a 20 minute drive to get there.”

“My friend and I spent 4 nights in this beautiful historic place and loved it. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the place is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The place was well-stocked with everything we needed and even included nice surprises like plush bath robes. The location is ideal. We liked being across from the Beekman mercantile and a coffee shop, and a short drive from other towns including Cooperstown. We would love to visit again!”

“We stayed at the apt for a wedding weekend. The owner met us at the apt and showed us all the extras that we could use. It was a nice quiet stay.”

“Cabin is rustic, steep steps to loft which contains the beds and raw wood roofing. (cannot stand in the loft). Also, water from faucets is for showering and doing dishes only, you must use the dispenser water for drinking and cooking. Had a problem with septic and draining just before leaving but owner came to fix issue when notified. Lastly, the cabin is up the hill (owners cabin at bottom of hill at lakeside), but you have access to the lake, canoes, kayaks, etc.”

“We visited our hometown to attend a wedding. Property was clean and well kept. No issues with noise or traffic sounds. The village itself is a quiet place to begin with in the area. The Roku TV thing we found hard to use and cumbersome so we streamed from our iPads to TV using Airplay and accessing our cable carrier. We didn’t watch much TV as we were out most of the time visiting nevertheless we tried to keep up with news. Suggest bringing a firestick if you have one. The bed was a full size so……

“House is in a nice location. The pictures were photoshopped on the listing to make the wood appear to be a more modern wood tone than it actually is. Not a huge deal but definitely something I noticed upon arrival. The bath towels provided by the house were bleach stained. No AC in bedrooms. Plant overgrowth on back deck. Ice maker doesnt work in freezer. Minor issues that could be addressed to provide a nicer experience for guests. Overall the house was not bad and we had a nice stay, but not 5……
