The room was a standard double with a very comfortable bed but the bathroom was poorly designed with a very small toilet seating area next to a small wash handbasin installed with a large surround which, if smaller, would have made using the toilet more comfortable. When booking again would definitely request a larger bathroom. Good breakfast choices and easy parking for an overnight stay. Thank you.”

“Lovely accommodation in a picturesque village in the Scottish Borders. Quiet, comfortable, excellent food and personal service. Nothing was too much trouble. Mattress in the room was a little shaped and could do with replacing, otherwise the stay was excellent. Thoroughly recommended for the food and service alone!”

The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous. Indeed, I can think of NOTHING of this one night experience for us that was amiss. We had the whole castle to ourselves. The accommodations were more than comfortable. In the room, we had a plethora of snacks and breakfast……
