Although there were posts noting renovations were underway, the property and the restroom in our room were in rough shape. (Trip hazard rippled carpeting in halls, dirty appearance to elevator and restroom walls) The staff was helpful (our key cards didn’t work twice.) It was quiet overnight and the breakfast was on a par with other hotels. The Stamford Diner next door was great!

The staff was rude and completely uncooperative. I have a deathly allergy to down. Called two days prior to confirm there would not be any down in the room. Upon check-in found three down pillows, requested new pillows and was told no. Had to call the manager who also told me no. I could go stay in another hotel if I didn’t like it. However, there are no other hotel rooms available. This booking was made a month ago.

Sent to three rooms that were already occupied by a guest There was blood around the base of the toilet and the room smelled terribly of smoke. They changed my room twice and it still smelled like smoke entered two guestrooms that were already occupied the third guest room. We heard people inside before we tried to go in.
