"Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. The blankets provided were unacceptably thin. If I had not brought blankets from home we would have frozen to death. I finally gave up and everyone slept in the...

"The place was perfect for a two day trip. It was clean and had a great view of the little lake and fall colors. We were able to cook breakfast on the electric griddle provided, however, we were not able to grill the steaks we had planned because of no way to clean the grill. No problem, though, we just had an authentic German meal out instead."

"The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed to enjoy a peaceful stay. View of lake and amenities were great. We enjoyed use of the paddle boat. Short drive to Hermann which worked out perfectly for our needs as we were attending a conference there. Would definitely recommend and not hesitate to stay again."
