“We were so lucky to get this property, it is only 7 miles from the Bethel venue where we saw Rod Stewart in concert. The house had everything we needed, the master bed was so comfortable & high up! The nearby park was well worth the visit. We were able to attend a pancake breakfast at the nearby fire station. We spent most of our time in the porch area, nicely furnished & plenty of Hummingbirds at the feeder. We saw the deers daily. Such a great get-away for 2 Florida girls!”

“Some friends and our pups were looking to spend a nice weekend upstate with our dogs to relax and spend time, and this place was perfect. The location is GREAT! It is near hiking trails, some breweries/orchards and while we didn’t go to dinner, there were restaurants around as well. The house was as described, spacious and had a lot to offer. “Thank you Ginny we had a lovely stay at your cottage. Was exactly as pictured! Was perfect for a night away. The only feedback we have is there was no body wash/soap or shampoo (but 3 bottles of conditioner) for the shower. And also in the main bedroom, the center support of the bed frame would shift even just getting into and out of bed. We were a little concerned it might give way but it held and mattress was comfortable. Besides those notes we would definitely recommend staying here!”

“My girlfriend, and I had the best week of our entire year at this house. The area is phenomenal, the house itself is cozy and comfortable, and the lake is beautiful. We caught a whole bunch of bass right off the dock, took the boat out and caught some pickerel. what great fishing :). there was a very good vegan pizza place nearby for those who need vegan food., The geary family is wonderful. Upon arrival, we were thrilled by the surprise of a wine bottle, its the little things that make the stay……

“Rented the house for a group of 9 (all adults over 21) and my dog to do some hiking at Minnewaska State Park and it didn't disappoint. There was plenty of room for everyone. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.”

“The cabin was perfect... almost. Check in was easy and the place is truly surrounded by trails and climbing. The bunk beds are in a room off the back of the house and it was cold. The back doors didn't feel very secure. There were also a lot of lady bugs. The fireplace had a hard-to-use controller and smelled of gas when we used it. “The actual room was excellent, compfy bed. Shower door was hard to open. No handle on the outside. Loud cars going through the neighborhood and my room was up 3 flights of stairs. ”
