There was a significant power outage the night we stayed at this hotel. We checked the website for outages and it was announced an outage from 10pm-6 am. Temperature in Australia during summer can be high and very uncomfortable. There was no airflow in the room. We had to go to sleep in the car at midnight (my husband, my 4 year old child, and myself -pregnant). We would have appreciated the hotel notify us about this outage before booking the place or at least during our stay so we could be prepared. There's no way they received no notification about an outage of 8 hours. Their response: nothing!

Thank you for your review Alejandra. This situation was discussed with you before you departed, and to say you had no response is simply not right. I am sorry you have chosen not to believe the fact that the motel had absolutely no knowledge of this outage. When we are notified of such an event, we always notify our guests - it is in our interest as much as the guests' interest. This was an extreme event which happened just after midnight I believe, and I can only reiterate that it was completely unforeseen by us. Other guests were most understanding. However, I am sorry you were inconvenienced and uncomfortable in the wee hours of the morning with no air-con. due to the power outage.Kind regards,
