“Guildford is a quiet small town. My stay is to visit relatives and was about a week in the same hotel. It is situated near edge of the city centre with an easy walk to reach. On the first day of my arrival, it was about midnight. The greeting staff who was in full of hospitality arranged the staying process. We expressed that due to the late arrival and no dinner at all, the staff immediately oet a pizza for us although the chef has already gone off. Throughout the week, we experienced a……

“We have stayed here before and will return. Restaurant & bar are good, staff are great, and our daughter loves the grounds & facilities. Sure the building is looking a little tired but everything else outweighs that, for us. ”

“A lovely hotel, nicely situated for exploring the area. The hotel and grounds were amazing with some lovely walks in close proximity. Room was very clean, with very comfortable beds. Found all the staff that we came into contact with to be friendly and chatty. Both breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Despite being very busy the hotel was not noisy, so had a good nights sleep every night. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. Have not added any pictures as the ones on the hotel website……

“First impressions, as you drive through a housing estate were not good, however, both rooms we had booked were very clean and had all we needed for a stop off to the airport. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've used in a while. I have paid double and had dirty rooms in Birmingham, Cambridge, Chester,York and London . Quite hotel all night even though it was full.”

“The facade might be slightly faded, but the interior is in good condition with clean, well maintained rooms. Breakfast is excellent with everything one could wish for. It is practically beside the train station, and only a short walk to the town / castle.”

“Nice clean hotel, but bedrooms very dated. Window held together with worn out cello tape. OK in the summer but I imagine cold in the winter. Shower head would not stay up and cubicle old and rusty. Plug sockets loose and TV aerial socket fell out. ”
