“Cute little place. Easy check-in and good communication with the host. We were not aware that there would be no towels, so bring your own if you stay here. The front door is weird and three of us pinched our fingers in the door. Also, the water smells a little funny. We had no cell phone service here, but the WiFi worked great.”

“The property was in a nice neighborhood not far from the lake and the house itself was adorable. Perfectly homey and just what we wanted.”

“Beautiful, serene wooded land. Saw a lot of birds. Beds were comfortable. The kids loved the swing and exploring the woods. Saw two Garter snakes. The pond is also really pretty. We didn't fish only enjoyed the scenery. Before we left the kids were asking when can we come back. Also wanted to note my king Charles cavalier loved the long windows she could sit on the floor and watch the birds. For those who must have internet the WiFi works amazing.”

“The cabin is well located for access to nature with all to comforts of home. I stayed for three nights in February and was able to visit many nearby restaurants and places in CNY. I hope to visit again soon for a longer stay.”

“We stayed here for our son’s college graduation weekend. The cabin is everything described in the listing and more. Our hosts communicated with us so well leading up to and after our stay, sending great directions to help us find the property. The cabin itself is extreme clean and well stocked with essentials. The backyard and creek are just beautiful. It’s called a creek but to us, it’s more like a small river - just amazing. We loved our stay and would happily return!”

Our host has been responsive, kind, and welcoming. Their cabin made our Christmas holiday extra special. It's a beautiful property.”

“Overall, a really good time there with my family. The rental was awesome and really well maintained. Would definitely go there again. Only complaint was there was just a 1/4th of a toilet paper roll when we arrived and no other TP there for us to use. Caused us to have to make a late night run to get some more. Also, only had one garbage bag for us.”

“Cozy little cabin for girls get away. Needed a little more seating for comfortable conversation/relaxing movie watching. Lots of bugs both dead and alive. I did talk to the host about it and he did offer us another cabin, but they also had bugs. He was super responsive to my calls and messages. Not horrible, but for 3 “girls” bugs were a bit of a turnoff.”

“Had to cut our stay a bit short but we would definitely go back. Cabin is small but well-appointed, property is beautiful — we had a great time walking on the hiking trails and just sitting by the koi pond and relaxing.”

“Very nice place and comfortable beds. Although, if you have small children that still take naps, this particular unit might be a bit noisy. There’s a set of doors that looks like a closet but it’s actually a neighboring unit. It’s locked and blocked off but you can clearly hear everything on the other side. Our neighbors had a large group and they’d often hold conversations by the door. Also, something to consider if you have toddlers, there is no deadbolt option on the main door. My little guy……

“Impression of this property is that it requires serious cleaning; floors very dirty; old, expired foodstuffs in refrigerator and cupboords; dirty dishes/silverware in cupboards; no dishsoap provided; no dishwasher soap provided; counters and cupboards need intense scrubbing; all cupboards/drawers need to be organized; wary about electrical wiring; extension cords almost abusive in outlets; no portable heaters found, very cold; no intructions for use of television; no instructions for use of wall……

“My husband, daughter and I were heading to Sylvan Beach for a surprise birthday party for his grandma and needed a place to stay. This place was perfect. We had a five month old, the place was super clean. It was shockingly warm so we were able to walk to the Pancake House for breakfast and the beach to look at the lake. The hosts was very nice and property manager. If we need to come back for a family visit we will stay there or talk everyone into renting the bigger property.”
