“Cute little place. Easy check-in and good communication with the host. We were not aware that there would be no towels, so bring your own if you stay here. The front door is weird and three of us pinched our fingers in the door. Also, the water smells a little funny. We had no cell phone service here, but the WiFi worked great.”

My husband and I traveled with our 6 month old baby and our friends who have an 18 month old to New York for the total eclipse, and this rental was a great home base for us during the trip. It had a great location and was only a short drive from Old Forge. The wood stove kept the cabin cozy at night and our hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a rustic but cozy cabin experience.”

“Our stay at Jerry's cabin in NY for the solar eclipse was exceptional. Jerry was the perfect host, attentive yet respectful of our privacy. The cabin's proximity to numerous trails was a highlight, especially with the e-bikes available for rent. Post-adventure, the refreshing shower was a standout amenity, marking a detail we'd return for. Whether for celestial events or nature exploration, Jerry's cabin is a top-notch choice. “Beautiful, serene wooded land. Saw a lot of birds. Beds were comfortable. The kids loved the swing and exploring the woods. Saw two Garter snakes. The pond is also really pretty. We didn't fish only enjoyed the scenery. Before we left the kids were asking when can we come back. Also wanted to note my king Charles cavalier loved the long windows she could sit on the floor and watch the birds. For those who must have internet the WiFi works amazing.”

“Overall, a really good time there with my family. The rental was awesome and really well maintained. Would definitely go there again. Only complaint was there was just a 1/4th of a toilet paper roll when we arrived and no other TP there for us to use. Caused us to have to make a late night run to get some more. Also, only had one garbage bag for us.”

“We had a wonderful time staying in this adorable cabin on over 90 acres. We loved sitting by the fire at night, and our dogs loved having plenty of open space to run and play. The kitchen is completely furnished with everything you'll need, and the location provided us with a quiet getaway. Michelle is a wonderful host who was quick to respond to my questions. Any family who stays here will not be disappointed.”

“The cabin is well located for access to nature with all to comforts of home. I stayed for three nights in February and was able to visit many nearby restaurants and places in CNY. I hope to visit again soon for a longer stay.”

“This is the second year in a row we have stayed at this cabin on Autumn Lake. It is absolutely perfect! The location is stunning and has the back drop of the perfect fall setting. The location is exactly why we chose to stay here again this year. It is a five minute drive to the salmon river. It is so easy to get up and go fish, come home for lunch and then hit the river again in the afternoon. There is a great gas station and dollar general less than 10 minutes away for any last minute items……

“We rented Cottage #1 for the 2024 solar eclipse and it was perfect! The unit had a beautiful view of the lake from both sleeping areas, was clean and quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was also beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail! During our stay we enjoyed painting some rocks for the property grounds, fishing from the canoe, and just relaxing around the fire. The only thing we would change is the length of our stay - we wish we stayed longer and……

“Have stayed at these cabins before. Always quaint and cozy. Usually go with a snowmobiling buddy but took my fiance this time. She loved and adored the area and the cabins/setting. Awesome host, thanks Brian, great location, highly recommended. Will definitely stay again!!”
