“Went to Ellijay for a business trip and this was perfect for us. We were only in town 2 nights and it was very close to town, and also the vineyards in the area. Having the Walmart for necessities and the restaurants right around the hotel was super convenient. Side note the Pueblo Cantina was delicious right next to the hotel. Included breakfast was also really helpful and did the job and the small shop with supplies and food was a great addition. ”

Cons: The check out time was earlier than expected-10 a.m. With a checkout time that early, it would be helpful to have alarm clocks in the rooms or a phone so that allows you to call down to the front desk and have an alarm scheduled for you. The Fridge and the dishwasher do not work, and they know these appliances don't work, yet the listing clearly states a full kitchen is available. Secondly, the listing states two fireplaces are available, one upstairs in the den and one downstairs in the Kids Den. Nope, the lower level fireplace is not in operation. “We enjoyed our stay over Easter weekend. The views of the river were lovely, but best of all from each room we could open our windows at night and fall asleep to the sound of the river. The resort amenities had a lot to offer to entertain our 11 year olds - minigolf, swimming, pickleball, arcade! My only complaint was that the resort was further away than we were expecting and required a 20 min drive due to winding nature of the roads so we ended up using it a little less than we might……

“Plenty of space for four adults. Easy drive to Ellijay/Blue Ridge/Jasper. The staircases are a bit steep, which is something to consider if you have balance or mobility issues. Everything else was fine, though.”
