"Hotel is well placed on NC500. Spent 2 nights here. Like several other hotels used this showed evidence of recent upgrading and decoration. Food was good and staff friendly. The room was a good size although the en-suite was rather tight for space. No luggage stands provided in room so other furniture was used. EV charging available a short distance away in town car park. "

Like everywhere, it seems, would benefit from an extra member of staff. Not much happens in the village but there is a decent cafe, a good ice cream shop, and a well-stocked shop. "
