“This is a nice little hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, not too small but accommodating enough for two. We had a nice view that we were able to see the ocean. This hotel don’t have any elevator & there is a small incline coming back from the beach & restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly & would like to make a special mention to one of the staff member Natalie who my wife reminded me to mention for her wonderful service. Only knick I had was the price for certain things like……

“Our stay here was great, well advertised to what it is. Staff is helpful and kind. Good food and smoothies available at price. Pool was enjoyable and clean. About 5 minute walk to the beach. There is a restaurant beside the hotel so there is a dull sound of music in the evenings. I am a light sleeper and did not find this a problem. Bed is firm but was not a problem either. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. The hotel also had good wifi, so my husband could do some work and also……

“The swimming pool is huge, can easily accommodate scores of people. Rooms basic, but entirely sufficient for overnight stay. If staying longer, one might like to have a small fridge in the room, especially as no lunch services in the facility. (The two of us had a portable cooler that proved sufficent for out purposes during our one-week stay). Breakfast, dinner entirely satisfactory, the latter served 7-8 PM only. -- Price-to-room ration favourable”

“Well maintained and the property itself is quiet. The on site restaurant was nice and they make great breakfast and nachos. The a/c was quiet and efficient. Great location for beach access and every restaurant you can imagine. Farmers market nearby 2 days a week. Bring ear plugs for potential howler monkeys and the bar nearby that plays music until 2am. ”

“One stop shop close to Ll amenities ”

“This was my 2nd visit to Laguna de Cocodrilos. Great, quiet location right off the beach at the mouth of the estuary. Only a few minutes walking distance to downtown. Stayed in a Jr. Suite (#12) and thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay. ”

“Staff was phenomenal! After some travel difficulties they waited for me and my wife to arrive the night we flew in. Their recommendations for places to see were always spot on. Charlie was the number one staff member!! Carlos and Virginia were always happy to answer questions and let us know about different areas to visit. Will definitely be going back when we travel to Costa Rica again. ”

“Atmosphere and food are excellent. Location is close to nice beach and you can take a water taxi to Tamarindo. The rooms are ok but the mattresses definitely need replacing as well as the fridge. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at El Moro. Hotel was near downtown. Staff was very nice, atmosphere too. Our breakfast was included. Great place to enjoy your afternoon by the pool and party at night . They do play club music all day long, close to midnight. Jope to come back soon. ”

“The internet quality is not so good, make sure to reserve a room with AC if you don’t like the heat. The road to the cabinas is. Very bad but that I guess is true for anywhere in Costa Rica”

“The pool was beautiful and refreshing, The Flores is so centrally located to all the bars and restaurants in Tamarindo we walked everywhere we wanted to go. We enjoyed Chippie the hotel cats company as well. ”

“Wonderful people own the property. A great Breakfast is cooked every morning. The pool, grounds and area around the property are beautiful. Clean rooms, hot water and excellent service. Be careful what car you use as the dirt roads leading to the property get a bit rough. Otherwise there is not negative thing I could say. I will definitely be returning to these gorgeous cabins soon!
