“House is located right on the river only about 10 feet from than banks. Fishing is excellent right out the front porch. While somewhat small the house is in excellent shape and was great for my wife and I. I would be careful if i had small kids as the house is very close to the water. Everything was as advertised and you can’t beat the price for the location. Check in was a breeze and we had absolutely no issues at all. Would stay here again for sure.”

“Really cute place great outdoor space comfortable bed, clean great location. Kitchen and bathroom are a little small. If you are a person who needs a lot of room might be a little tight, but it was great for us.”

“Our family loved this cute log cabin over spring break! The kids loved playing on the snow, fishing at the pond and we enjoyed having fires in the wood burning stove at night. Great hiking all around the surrounding mountains and in the gorge. Lori was great and we loved our stay.”

“Great property. Great hostess. Our family of 7 fit just fine. Nice views. Nice deck/porch areas. It’s about 10min to the Plaza in Taos and about 20min to Sipapu ski area, so the location was good for us. Winter weather was not a problem for access in our 2WD van (though, it does have snow tires). Kitchen was sufficient for cooking suppers at night. You can hear the rush of the nearby stream. Definitely a property to book again in the future.”

“Wonderful location and short walking distance to the platinum chair lift and Main Street. The deer ate nuts and berries from our hands from both porches each morning and evening. Cabin had everything we needed with beautiful views. This was our second time to stay here in the Rio Rojo cabin while skiing and we will certainly be back!”

“There were a few issues during our stay with appliance and electrical but they were resolved very quickly. Everyone was professional and kind during the interaction as well. The cabin itself is amazing perfect for a family get away. The location is perfect close to shops, restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“Had a blast”

“It was larger than we had originally expected. The hot water gets very hot and stayed hot whenever we needed it. The king size bed is quite firm. The pans are not nonstick, so they’re less easy to clean. All the appliances worked as they should. Kitchenware is all there available. It was a nice stay. We did enjoy it.”

“Visited during last week of April/first week of May. Red River was not busy at all and the cabin was a perfect retreat for peace and quiet! Host was receptive to our pets (thank you) and everything was perfect!! Comfortable sleeping arrangements and cabin had everything we needed and more! Thanks again and we'll return as soon as possible!”

“Cozy, comfy, and wonderful location in between Taos Ski Valley village and the upper Ski Valley. My children loved the table tennis and darts on the bottom floor, and the loft bedroom. We loved the convenient kitchen, comfortable bed, and windows on the main floor. We hope to visit again!”

“Walking distance to town, clean we both wished there was better more comfortable furniture in the main room it was just a loveseat to sit on for the 2 of us unless you wanted to sit at the dinning room table. Bedroom and bathroom was nice”
