“Wonderful host, great old house to explore, like a museum with a Brit twist! Great wrap around porch. Teacups, plentiful tea and coffee in room. Our suite was like an antique store, so many items to appreciate. Very clean accommodations. Short, easy walk to downtown Waxahachie, great breakfast places. Sweet town.”

“This is a nice house with spacious rooms, but we encountered several issues with regards to cleanliness. There were clumps of hair on the floors, in the pool, and even on the front porch. Items were left in the backyard from previous guests. Food was caked on various surfaces. The towels were rolled up neatly on the beds, but they were very damp. There was also a significant fly infestation that seemed to be primarily in the kitchen. I wondered if food had been left out, or if the trashcan……

“We book this house every year. Katherine is an awesome host. The house is always very welcoming and a cozy stay. Our favorite place is the wrap around back porch and the scenery in the backyard. This place is perfect everytime.We can't wait for next year!”

“The property had limited amount of furniture in the bedrooms. No place to place your luggage and limited power outlets near the bed. Silverware was not complete for more than 2 people for 1 day.”

“The property was very cute and actually being by the railroad tract was fun and different and the kids enjoyed it. I was worried about the noise from them but it didnt impact us. There was a plumbing issue (just the quirks of being on septic) but Kim was super responsive. We had a weddng near by and the location worked well for that. The immediate area doesnt offer much but a short drive into town and there's everything. Its definitely quiet except for the passing trains.”

“Our little house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It was in a quiet, conveniently located neighborhood. The decor was so cute and eclectic! Very comfortable beds!! We highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.”
