“Great place , classic kiwi batch with a nice kitchen and dishwasher! which was a nice surprise. Well laid out , good shower , comfy lounge ,comfy beds, beautiful views of hillside and estuary. Good parking, nice neighbors. Advice you take your own big umbrellas for shade on deck. Can park a 6mtr boat on grass then 2 to 3 vehicle's. Only con would be no details on rubbish collection. We found the pamphlet on the last day. Tairua is awesome, not has busy as Whiti or Pauanui but still has……

“A good traditional kiwi bach, good for a break away from the city. Nice and close to the beach and tennis court, reasonably equipped.”

“Loved the stay. Hot water kept on tripping but it was hot anyway so not too much of a problem.”

“The photos look really nice so it was a little bit of a surprise when we arrived to see it what it was actually like. Mould on the textured ceiling in the bedroom and found a flea in one of the beds (after waking up with bite marks), we don't have any pets so we definitely didn't bring it with us. The unit was full of the owners stuff which cluttered an already small space and made it difficult to find a place to put things. The carpet in the bedroom looked to be original and everything felt……

“The Lookout was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the location, and the view over the ocean was pure magic. The property was secluded and it had everything we needed. Cleanliness could have been slightly better but this didnt hinder our stay. We would definitely come back!”

“Spent two nights at the property introducing my family to Pauanui. The property was great for our young family with access to the estuary literally a few feet away. The kids felt like they were having an adventure sleeping up top in the loft bedroom. House was very warm, great location and Amelia (our bach administrator) was super.”
