Kim baked us blueberry, banana crunch, zucchini muffins and Lincoln blood red pies, she also made double chocolate chip and Praline biscotti’s. Everything was yummy. “The Roost was perfect for a quick trip and time needed away. The accommodations were clean, organized and decorated comfortably with a lot of character. I was able to make a full meal in the small but functional kitchen. I love that this is a hidden gem in a lesser known wine region.”

“Good location, clean, simple to checkin and check out. Neighborhood a bit noisy with trucks idling in the AM and train whistles throughout the evening. Would have liked an outdoor space although since it rained the whole weekend, didn’t matter in the end. For wine country, would have expected appropriate stemware. Overall a nice place.”

“Very comfortable 3 night stay. Great location! Did some fishing off the boat dock. Has everything you need. Stairs were a little difficult & steep (and you are forewarned), but once you get everything upstairs, it was very pleasant. Neighbors are very close by, but that is Delta living. Highly recommend. “I had a 5 night stay here. It was such a relaxing stay. My small dog and I were welcomed by Toby the dog. Cynthia gave us clear instructions of how to get to the cottage and settled in. My dog and I walked the neighborhood daily. The street and homes looked as if it could be in a movie. Neighbors were friendly. The hot tub is behind the cottage, perfect for some privacy. The room was clean, well stocked and cozy. Downtown is minutes away. I will definitely make another reservation when I need a……
