“The house was nice. Had everything we needed. The trees were full of birds singing, there are a couple eagles who stayed in the trees just outside and the squirrels were friendly too. The water was brown and unswimable, but overall, absolutely beautiful. Happy we booked here! Check in and out was easy and owner was responsive to messages.”

“My wife and I hosted 3 of our adult children and their children at the Mansion. It is a beautiful place to stay. The grandkids ran miles throughout the halls and playing hide and seek in this 13,500 square ft estate and is only four minutes to the zoo. The owners are very kind and the kitchen is well equipped. “Beautiful hotel with two restaurants. Our room had a pretty view of the river. Toledo is close to Lake Erie and some great places for birding. The valet parking worked really well. I was surprised that the parking was a separate charge. The area is beautiful but deserted. Not much within walking distance. ”

There is no buffet breakfast provided (though you get a bag of a snack, a muffin, and a bottled water). Also, the controller of my room's air conditioner didn't work.
