Parked outside in an out-of-hors parking bay, but the parking behind the hotel looked nowhere near as difficult to access as some have mentioned - just take care. My room was tastefully decorated, comfortable and warm on a chilly Summer's evening. Good choice of hot drinks. Complimentary bottled water. Everything worked. I left very early to take part in a sporting event, so I missed breakfast.”

“The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.”

“A lovely hotel, great room and comfortable bed. Decor a bit dated but all clean. Wonderful lounge and bar area. Friendly happy staff. There were some issues with the lift but as were on the first floor we could manage the stairs. A very relaxing break. Thank you.”
