“I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful getaway location and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. Despite the unfortunate closure of the trails, the location proved to be perfect for a relaxing retreat. Trailering to the top of the hill provided breathtaking views that made up for any disappointment about the trails being inaccessible from the house. One of the first things that struck me upon arrival was the cleanliness and spaciousness of the accommodations. It's always……

“We had a wonderful time on the river. The house was perfect. It was clean and well stocked. The yard is the true beauty here. It was gorgeous cooking on the fire next to the water and beating able to listen to the following river.”

“6 grandchildren throughly enjoyed themselves as did the adults. Only downfall was not enough fans so first nights were rather warm”

“It was perfect! We were all getting burnt out so a nice relaxing and peaceful get away tucked beneath the pines was what me, my husband, and my dog Lily needed. We invited our friends to stay with us for the night and they loved it, such a good time. “We came here for a few days during the solar eclipse. Melissa and scott, the care talkers, were very sweet and attentive. A car accident had actually knocked out power to the whole town just before we showed up, but the place has a generator so we still had everything! cabin is a10 minute walk from town which was really fun to explore! We saw a mama and baby deer in the back yard on day 1. The kids (9 &14) could not get enough of the Foosball table and the adults discover the ring & hook game on……

The cabin's proximity to numerous trails was a highlight, especially with the e-bikes available for rent. Post-adventure, the refreshing shower was a standout amenity, marking a detail we'd return for. Whether for celestial events or nature exploration, Jerry's cabin is a top-notch choice. “We booked this property and filled each bed with friends to experience the eclipse. While the host couldn't control the weather, it ended up being the perfect location (and experience)! The house was just as described and the kitchen was fully stocked with every pan or utensil you could think of, which was helpful as we prepared each meal at the house (all ten of us fit around the table). Central location - we took a walk to the train depot, fire pit was used to cook lunch over, plenty of hot……

“We've stayed here before and LOVED the screened in porch - this "cabin" is always accommodating and comfortable, very clean as well. We did run out of propane for the firepit, but did at least get to enjoy it for two nights - the beds are comfortable and the living room as well - kitchen well stocked. Close to everything - we will definitely be renting again.”

The kitchen is completely furnished with everything you'll need, and the location provided us with a quiet getaway. Michelle is a wonderful host who was quick to respond to my questions. Any family who stays here will not be disappointed.”
