“Stayed over memorial day weekend, booked fairly last minute and was super surprised this place was still available. You open the front door to great open floor plan and a marvelous view of the lake. Couches were so comfy, beds were too which was surprising since we have a purple mattress at home most nights away are painful, these were not. The canoe and kayak were awesome amenities. The deck gave us so much peaceful lounging time the kids loved the deck swing and playing in the water. I never……

“The epitome of a Christmas cabin. Quaint and quirky with all its different landing levels and window shapes. Just enough rustic charm with all modern amenities a bigger family hopes for. Great proximity to Skibowl and tubing and ton of pubs and cafes, enough wooded privacy to feel like your secluded in the woods. We hope to return again! Thank you for sharing your home with us.”

“We loved this spot! The interior was very cozy and was as advertised. I loved the fire place in the living room. The real star of this place is the hot tub on the deck, which is right next to the Zig Zag river. It’s a large really nice hot tub, and the pleasant sound and view of the river really add to the ambience.”

“Very quaint cabin. Well sized for us two adults. Beds comfy and it was plenty warm. Outside temps were lo 30’s. Some sunshine, some drizzle. Didn’t utilize any cooking as we were attending a destination wedding where all meals were provided at another rental location. Wi- Fi was flawless which is extremely important for us with multiple devices each. Very charming place and would return to same if another opportunity presents. Totally recommend!”

“This was a perfect place to stay for a few days in the drippy Pacific NW forest, just minutes from Mt. Hood, convenient retail and dining. Although we could hear highway noise, it was blended with the rushing waters of the Zig Zag River only yards away, We felt cozy and secluded.”

“I wasn’t happy about not bring able to use the Fireplace, the main floor was cold most of the time, it wasn’t clear about where to put the garbage, the host never reached out to me when I sent an email. But I did really like the bed arrangements.”

“We had a great stay here. Quaint ski cabin with ample fun tucked away bunks for kids. This would be such a fun place to stay for two adult couples and 4plus kids ranging ages 5-12. With older teens the bunks are a bit small but the couch is the perfect place to unwind after a big ski day!”

“Enjoyed everything about our visit. Incredibly beautiful setting. Great privacy- yet not isolated. The cabin is extraordinary. So much character. Completely comfortable. Two converging creeks on the lot make this location unique. The gazebo, wrap around porch, and the second floor balcony provide perfect outdoor places from which to enjoy the surrounding beauty in comfort. The host was always helpful and available by text or phone. Being pet friendly made our visit even better. Looking forward……

“My family and I stayed 2 nights at the cabin. It was perfect for us. Close to Mt Hood Meadows, night sledding and lovely walks in the woods. A couple of maintenance issues which I’m sure will be resolved for next guest.”
