“The communication with the host in regards to the property and check in was excellent. The property was centrally located. I know the area well as I was visiting relatives and it suited my needs fine as a place to stay and spread out. Outdoor patio was a huge bonus, which I appreciated as a lovely space to sit and get some work done on the laptop. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it.”

“Place was clean, but that is about it. amenites advertized were not accessible, thye double charges us: charges us for the stay as well as what we paid, then accused of stealing a table, leaving "poop" behind, (which we did not do either charges us $400.00 additional cleaning) charges us for a key that was returned, and we were there for less than 4 days...”

Modest but well stocked with everything you will need and in a great location to get a real feel for the city. 5 stars and highly recommended for your Oakland Experience! Walking distance from pretty much anything you will need and not too far from the ferry landing if you want to bump over to SF for the day. The one minor extra I requested was granted quickly and graciously and I will definitely stay……

“Stayed with family for competition at events center. Conveniently located. Easy to get to center. Quiet safe neighborhood, beautiful home, layout was great for us, but might be a challenge for families with small kids due to 3rd room in basement and separate unit sort of but that is great for families with teens or multiple families. “Needed short rental due to house fumigation. This was close to our home and provided what we needed for 3 days. Host was amenable to a couple of not usual requests. Parking area turn around is tight. Better to back in from street. Overall great for 2 people”

“I had a small issue with the lock when I arrived but it was remedied by the owner easily over text. No problem. The flat is very clean, well appointed kitchen, super comfortable beds and couch, and in a nice neighborhood. Everything worked perfectly, I enjoyed the complimentary treats and water!
