“Bedding wasn't crisp/clean, seemed not fresh. Outer door and bathroom door had grease handprints, should have been wiped down. Broken toilet tissue holder. Bed was hard and made lots of noise being some lightweight metal frame.”

“This is a perfect little place to clear your mind and enjoy nature while still having everything you need. The whole ranch is beautiful. The back deck is perfect for grilling and relaxing. Nice yard in front with a great porch to enjoy also.”

“Enjoyed the stay. Very pleasant area and welcoming reception. The only misleading was it is true river 2 minutes away, but you cannot get to it. It was locked private property. Im not sure if it was because off season. Just check before you rent.”

“This little cabin is exactly what we were hoping for! Secluded, great covered patios in front and back, and back patio is so relaxing! Hummingbird feeder, bird feeders and birdbath all get a lot of activity, plus a great view of the deer, turkeys and hogs when they come out to eat. This place had everything we needed…charcoal grill, cookware, coffee, etc. very clean as well. Buddy the cat was great company too! Definitely would come back!”

“First off, let me start by saying it is a great location. One other house is close by, but there is definitely a lot of privacy. Upon the arrival of the home and inspection windows were broken, blinds were broken or missing. There was no fire extinguisher and the air condition filter was extremely dirt. Emailed the office to get the AC filter and fire extinguisher but received no response. The windows were so dirty that you couldn’t even enjoy the view outside. The refrigerator outdoor took two……

“La Casita lived up to its earlier great reviews. Beautiful setting, with amazing views of Hill Country and many bird species putting on a show at the feeders! The cabin was rustic and charming, and well cared for by its kind owners. We look forward to visiting again!”

“The place is very clean and access is easy for short drive to Seven Bluffs area crossing for river access with parking $30/day. Leakey is close if you want to eat out (recommend the pizza place) or cabin has all the things to stay in and cook. The bed and recliners were comfortable. The cabin is right off the main road but the road noise wasn’t bad at all. AC kept up with the 100degree heat. The only downer is the well water - so stinky but the cabin is so clean that the water smell seems to……

“We had a great time and the cabin was just as described. Clean and had everything we needed. A little trouble with the air conditioning, even though it was spring it was difficult to keep the temp cool and the filter seemed like it needed to replaced on the ac.”
