“We really enjoyed our stay at Bungalow Seven. What a darling little cabin. Fortunate to have a wonderful week of weather to enjoy coffee on the dock, kayaking, sitting by the water, sunsets and bonfires. Molly and Patrick were very gracious hosts! So attentive to your needs and there to help with whatever concerns you may have. Would definitely come again. Thanks so much for everything!”

“We had a wonderful weekend at the lake. We were welcomed right from the start with a gift basket of goodies. The couch and throw blankets are perfect for curling up and watching movies. The cabinets were stocked with necessities in both the kitchen and bathroom- seasonings, coffee, first aid, sunscreen, laundry detergent, shampoo, and even some toothpaste in case you forgot. The kayaks and water toys were well clean and well maintained. And the beds…best beds, pillows and linens we have come……

“Loved the area. Lake Melissa is a hidden gem. We lucked out and stayed just as the autumn colors in the trees were at their peak! The view of the lake was incredible out of the many windows. We watched the birds take their route past us every morning. There was a paddle boat and stand-up paddle boards available if we wanted them. The house was fine. Everything we needed was there, but it could use some minor maintenance. There is a window in the shower without any covering on it. That shower……

“Was shocked to find the cleaning fee was more than our 4 night stay! Other than that, we loved everything about our stay including the private dock, the ability to access Ottertail Lake by boat from Walker Lake, the fish filet mat and filet knives provided, laundry, and our dog being able to join us. We would have loved power access from the dock but pulling the boat out each night wasn't bad as the house was less than 1/2 mile from the boat ramp. Also, the boat ramp was pretty crowded so it was……

“This is the second time we have rented this place for our 81 year old mother to stay for 2 weeks. She absolutely loves staying here! The hosts are amazing and so easy to communicate with. The home is spotless, up to date and has everything you need. The lake is so beautiful! I would HIGHLY recommend this rental!!”

“Nice cabin with a beautiful view from the large deck. Accommodations were more than adequate for the two of us and could easily manage 4-6. Also very thoughtful with extras like coffee and spices. Host was very accommodating when we asked to move our reservation out a day. Good location between other lakes and lake towns. We would go back again.”

“Close to everything. The house was very cozy and clean. Big windows looking out to the large deck and lake. The kitchen had everything, but the ice maker did not work so you might want to get some ice before you arrive. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay. Thank you so much”

“We had a wonderful time at this very comfortable lakeside home. My daughter was very happy with the blackout blinds in the bedrooms for baby daytime naps. Kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed the kayaks and this time of year (end of September) the beautiful views of the lake as the leaves were changing.”

“We had every thing we needed! Very private and our two golden retrievers had a great time too! The pontoon was a wonderful bonus and we thoroughly enjoyed the boat rides around the huge lake! Steven was very responsive when we had any questions too. The sunsets were spectacular and paddle boarding at dusk on a glasslike lake was the best! Thank you! Our host asked for suggestions so we had a couple. An anchor on the pontoon, and maybe clearing cobwebs just before check in would be nice.……
