“When we got to the house, the pictures didn’t do it justice. It was very clean! And was so easy to get around to everything. It’s about a 10min drive to the public beaches. My family and I had a great time with our dogs. The yard was very clean and we had an easy time spraying the pups off with the hose.”

“This was a great place for our short stay. The most important thing to us was the dog friendly atmosphere for a reasonable price, which we found here at swell life. The home was clean. You can see the sound/bay and the ocean from the deck. If you sit in the right spot you can watch the waves roll in and in the other spot watch the sun set and its gorgeous colors over the sound/bay. You can hear the ocean at all times. We always like a oceanfront view and although this wasn't an oceanfront view.……

“Even though it rained several of the days, we still enjoyed the ocean from our balcony on the second floor and did some Kitty Hawk exploring. And there were so many close excellent recusants to chose from for dinning. The place was clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils etc... But didn't realize there was an elevator until the 2nd day but was so grateful for it being on the 2nd floor. Only improvement would be that someone would have been in the office, which was closed due to short……

“The stay was great even though the weather wasn’t the best. The house was nice and the location was great. There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed such as a loose board on the deck and the shower curtain rod needs to be permanently attached so it doesn’t fall on someone else’s head. We would stay here again on our next trip to the Outher Banks if it was available.”

“Our stay way excellent. While the property is not on the water, access to the beach is a very close. The property was clean and their bed was really comfortable. The water was a little too cold to enjoy swimming without a wetsuit. Also, due to a western wind bringing some bitting flies it prevented hanging out at the beach. I was told by the locals this wind brings them out. Spray doesn’t seem to faze them and they swarm. Other than that- the water is beautiful and traveling up the coast is a……

“Check in was easy and Diane is very nice. I didn’t realize it is actually a converted 1car garage. It quirky but cute. It’s very clean and has everything you need, beach chairs, weights, towels, nice little snacks… It doesn’t have a stove so you can’t really cook anything there. They made very good use of the space and have very specific instructions for everything. The best part is it’s very close to an excellent beach and many amenities. I would definitely book it again.”

“I could move in here and live. This property was just like home-comfortable with everything we needed including sand toys!!! There was easy access to the beach and anything we needed was nearby. Be sure to visit the Dunes at Jockey Ridge. That was a highlight. And my grandson recommends Treasure Cove mini golf! We look forward to returning to this property in the future. It suited our needs perfectly.”
