“The house was clean. Communication with management company was subpar. We got scripted responses to all questions, and false information. For example, we asked if hot tub was working and was told it was. When we arrived, the hot tub was broken and dirty. Also, check-out is at 10am and there is nowhere to leave belongings if you’d like to stay in FI for the day. They should allow a place to keep luggage prior to departure. Overall, great and clean house and amazing location!”

“We found the house to be really cute and fun to stay in. The location was excellent and we even saw a deer on our last morning! Our main issues, and why this isn’t a 5 star rating, were that multiple lighting fixtures weren’t working and there was an entire bed missing. The ad mentions “1 queen, 1 double, 4 twin’ beds however there’s really 1 queen and 4 twins. This could have caused a big problem if our group was just a bit larger. The ad should be changed to reflect the accurate information……

“We stayed at the New Dawn for a Memorial Service. The setting on the water was so peaceful and private, yet easy access for those of us traveling by public transportation from Manhattan and La Guardia airport. We had chairs lined up facing the water for a Celebration of Life Ceremony. The whole downstairs layout was just wonderful with indoor and outdoor areas for people to gather, sharing memories and grief. “The property was misrepresented and unsafe. My parents didnt stay with us due to conditions of the property. We contacted Vacasa the rental management company and decided to leave the property and stay with friends as the windows were broken and shattered and the master bed was broken, no wifi, no functional washer and the list goes on. I expect a full refund from VRBO....I am a frequent client of VRBO and this was not acceptable. Please advise how to go about obtaining a full refund or I will……

“There are a few things I want to say but to be fair I’ll say this one if you are over 5’9” don’t do it I’m lucky I don’t have a concussion I’m 6’1” and hit my head numerous times, as a oversized couple the bed besides being up against the wall was questionable in support of two people so I spent my time on the couch which one had stains and an Odor, and the better of the two was caving in the middle. The so-called kitchenette, is just a fridge and a microwave so we had to eat out all week and……

“Property was very clean and comfortable . We were able to walk to the UBS Arena within 10 minutes , which was very convenient and economical as parking is pricey . Having offstreet parking was so helpful . Ahmed answered all of my questions and his suggestions were helpful . Excellent diner , deli and bakery nearby ! Would highly recommend”
